Help us raise money

Dr. Henry Shiu was appointed Shi Wu De Professor in Chinese Buddhist Studies in July 2020. While our Foundation had made a first donation of $100,000 toward the professorship endowment; thanks to your generous donations, we were able to donate an additional $34,000 more recently. We hope that you will join us to fund-raise to contribute toward the remaining $266,000 of the $1.5 million endowment. The late Reverend Shi Wu De was the founding President of our Foundation and the founding Abbot of the Ching Kwok Temple of Toronto. He was a revered leader in the Toronto Buddhist community.
