JMG partners with public education and private businesses to offer results-driven solutions to ensure all Maine students graduate, attain post-secondary credentials, and pursue meaningful careers.

JMG is the only nonprofit in Maine offering a continuum of support to help students transition from middle school through high school graduation, onto post-secondary education through degree attainment and connections to successful career pathways.

Over the last 25 years, JMG has helped more than 60,000 Maine youth prepare for successful careers after graduation by helping them overcome academic, financial, and social barriers. We do this by offering career exploration opportunities and by providing them with a toolbox of skills, knowledge, and best practices to use throughout their lives to achieve self-sufficiency, pursue their aspirations, and attain success. JMG graduates become engaged members of their communities, productive adults in the workforce, and contributors to Maine’s economy.
