August 14, 2021 – Saturday
Newark, De
It is the mission of the Community Housing and Empowerment Connections Inc. (CHEC) to build just, healthy and strong communities through advocacy, education and community partnerships.
We cordially invite you to participate as a Sponsor of the 1st Annual Hybrid 5K Run/Walk 4 Justice. This event will take place virtually and live at Glasgow Park (Newark, DE) to raise money for Healthy Homes and Environmental Justice programs to engage, educate, and empower community residents who are disproportionately impacted by environmental pollutants and health disparities in Delaware. Programs include community air monitoring, healthy homes, environmental justice education and awareness campaigns.
Your sponsorship helps to defray the cost of organizing the event. Funds received from sponsorships are used to purchase t-shirts and medals for registered participants, and video production of participant selfies. Any additional money from sponsorships will go toward Health Equity and Environmental Justice program fundraising goal of $100,000.00.
