SPUR Virtual Run "Walk, Trot, Gallop"!
October 3- 9, 2021
Help raise money to support SPUR while you exercise pre Halloween plus have the opportunity to earn some great prizes!
Special People United to Ride (SPUR) is holding a Virtual Run October 3rd to October 9th. Anytime during that week participants can walk, trot or gallop 2 miles anywhere and raise money for a great cause.
SPUR a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization works in conjunction with the Monmouth County Park System to provide individuals with disabilities the opportunity to achieve personal goals through therapeutic horsemanship. The Park System’s Sunnyside Equestrian Center provides a safe environment for students to enjoy the freedom of riding and handling a horse.
The SPUR Virtual Run will raise money to provide scholarships for riders to participate in programs. About 35% of the riders at SPUR receive some form of scholarship.
Run participants will receive a great long sleeve t-shirt and have the opportunity to earn amazing prizes!
When you enter you are automatically included in a weekly Friday random drawing for a $100 Giftcard to any McLoone's restaurant. Limit of one Giftcard win per Participant.
On October 10th there will be a drawing for some fantastic prizes. In order to earn entry into the drawing you need to be a participant in the Virtual Run and fundraise or donate at least $100. For every $100 that the participant fundraises or donates they will receive an additional chance in the drawing.
Prizes included in the October 10th drawing are:
Four Giants Tickets to a 2021 Home Game Date TBD; A Concept2 Rowing Machine; Golf for Three with a member at Navesink Country Club; $400 in Giftcards to any McLoone's Restaurant; $350 Animal Bodywork & Aromatherapy Basket; or a $250 Giftcard to Off the Hook Restaurant.
Limit of one Prize win per Participant.
