Firecracker 4-Miler (and 1-Mile Fun Run)

Start: Bucktown Marina

325 Metairie Hammond Hwy Metairie LA 70005 – begin on levee and head west

1-mile: intersection of levee and Bonnabel Blvd

2-mile/turnaround point: levee halfway between Severn Ave and N Arnoult Rd

3-mile: intersection of levee and Bonnabel Blvd

4-mile/finish: same as start

.5-mile: levee and Ocean Ave (1-mile fun run only)

Water station: approximately 100 yards before/after turnaround point

7:00am = Race day registration/Packet pickup opens

8:00am = 1-mile fun run (FREE!!!)

8:15am = Firecracker 4-Miler

Awards: Custom, locally made awards for top 3 overall male and female, top male and female racewalker, and top 2 male and female age in the following age groups (youth = 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+).

COVID protocols: In order to comply with state and local guidelines, we will be communicating the latest protocols before the race. Your health and safety is of the utmost importance to us at Lazy Hound Racing.

Post-race: We will have post race refreshments and food that are compliant with state and local COVID guidelines at the time of the event.
