Due to the Delta variant and based on concerns expressed by health professionals, we have made the difficult decision to reschedule the North Carolina SCADaddle & lunch to 2022.

Our Cause

Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) is a little known and poorly understood type of heart attack. Most patients are younger healthy women who do not have the typical risk factors of heart disease. Although less common, it can affect men too. SCAD can recur and can be fatal. Research is needed to identify the cause(s) and the best treatment options.

SCAD is the #1 cause of heart attacks in women under age 50, pregnant women & new moms.

Join us and SCADaddle through Patterson Farm! Our timed 5K Run/Walk takes place at Patterson Farm Market & Tours in Mount Ulla, NC, approx. 35 miles NE of Charlotte. Enjoy running/walking on a dirt/grass trail around farm fields in production.

All runners & walkers will be timed. Awards will be given to overall winner male and female. Medals will be given to 2nd and 3rd place male/female overall and to the top three males/females for age groups: 11 and under; 12-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+

Award ceremony will take place immediately following the 5K, along with:

• Refreshments
• Fun on the farm!

All registered participants will receive a wristband to enjoy Patterson Farm and its many activities after the 5K. What a great way to spend the day with family and friends.

Register by Sept. 4 to guarantee this year's t-shirt.
