The Little Rock Marathon takes the talent and energy of over 2,000 volunteers, 60+ sponsors and countless members of the community that want to showcase central Arkansas.

The Little Rock Marathon is a volunteer-driven organization. We offer many volunteer and leadership opportunities each year to inspire giving, personal growth and community. We cannot run without you! Thank you!

We’re always looking for fun, hardworking people to take a greater part in our organization, from the big marathon weekend to our other races throughout the year.

CALLING ALL ENTERTAINERS!

Are you in a band, DJ, dance crew or any other type of entertainment or performance group? If so, we’d love to have you join us as official entertainment. You will have the opportunity to perform in front of thousands of participants and spectators along our 26.2 mile race course!

VOLUNTEER GUIDELINES:
We strive to insure our volunteers have a meaningful experience! Please take a moment to review the following volunteer guidelines. As race weekend approaches, you will receive any additional instructions you may need.

When you sign up, you commit to being present for that specific shift(s) during the entire length of that shift(s). If it is the day of your scheduled shift and you find you cannot make it, please be considerate and notify your captain right away. If you need to cancel before the day of the event, please contact the Volunteer Directors at lrmarathonvolunteer@gmail.com.

Familiarize yourself with the race prior to your shift--some volunteer positions may need to assist in answering questions for runners and spectators. You can do this by reading the Little Rock Marathon Race Book.

Please check in with your captain upon arrival and when your shift is done. During your shift, follow instructions from your captain. If you need to leave early in the case of an emergency, please let your area captain know.

Our volunteers are a reflection of our community. Volunteers should treat athletes, captains, guests, other volunteers, and racecourse neighbors with the utmost courtesy and respect. Please pick up after yourself, keep the noise to a minimum during the early hours, and refrain from using profanity.
