Raise money for WAIT House

Providing stability to homeless youth in need of support. WAIT House is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that operates a homeless youth shelter serving youth ages 16-24.  It's Emergency Shelter Program provides shelter including case management and goal planning for up to 60 days.  The Transitional Living Program provides long-term shelter and services to homeless young women and their children.  WAIT House's Permanent Housing Program helps individuals of all ages to locate and keep safe, affordable permanent housing.  WAIT House also works to fight against human trafficking through it's Street Outreach and Safe Harbour programs which identify youth who are being trafficked or are at risk of being sexually exploited or trafficked.  The Safe Harbour program also provides training for local agencies, health care providers and schools on recognizing signs of youth trafficking.

Since opening its doors in 2003, WAIT House has provided over 27,000 bed nights to over 1,800 youth and young adults.  Staff work with each young person who comes through the door to foster independence, personal responsibility and self-sufficiency.  Relationships built, lessons learned and confidence gained while at WAIT House last a lifetime.
