The Grizzly Challenge is an annual memorial cycling ride to commemorate all the Canadian Forces Members lost in Afghanistan. Riders pledge to ride a total distance of 158km (1km for each member lost). Participants and interested parties are encouraged to donate to a charity as a means of honoring the fallen by giving back to the community.
Distance: Cycling 158kms, 1km for each Canadian soldier lost in Afghanistan.
Dates: 5 - 13 June 2021, Participants in the Virtual Grizzly Challenge will have 1 week to ride the 158km.
Number of Rides: Unlimited, Riders can break the distance into as many riding sessions as they would like and upload the distance and time of each ride to track their progress.
