Justice is calling! Join the fight against child abuse!

Saturday, October 30, CASA of Tarrant County will host its 8th Annual Superhero Run/Walk!

This family-friendly 5K run and 1-mile Fun Run starting at Levitt Pavilion in Arlington will attract heroic people in masks, capes, and original costumes, all joining together to support abused and neglected children in foster care.

• Located in the heart of downtown Arlington at the Levitt Pavilion

• USATF Certified 5K Course

• 1 Mile Fun Run

• Live entertainment

• Free T-shirt and Goody Bag for Registrants

• Puppy Power Pavilion for Canine Superheroes

• KaPow! Kid Zone with Inflatables, Games and Family-friendly Activities

• Superhero Training Academy featuring obstacle courses and workouts

All are welcome. Dogs must be on-leash! We have a Puppy Power Pavilion with water, treats and activities just for your furry friends!

Be a Caped Crusader for CASA - Make a Team

Do you have a corporate, school, friends/family, civic or church team? Teams of 5 or more receive a discount on 5K entries! This is a great team-building event where your team could win prizes for "Best Team Name" or largest team. Coordinate your costumes and enter the costume contest too! Kids

We have SUPER fun activities planned for kids of all ages. Our KaPow! Kids Zone features inflatables, face painting and TONS of fun. Kids can also enter the costume contest, participate in the 1 Mile Fun Run, get chased by villains and enjoy FREE food and GoGo Squeez. Kids who love to run can also compete in the 5K Run, with awards given to the top M/F runners in age brackets 0-8 and 9-15. Older kids can participate in the Superhero Training Academy, featuring obstacle courses.

Awards

All kids 12 and under will receive a medal for finishing the 1 Mile Fun Run. We have costume contest awards for "Best Dog", "Super Baby", "Best Invented Superhero Girl and Boy", "Best Traditional Superhero Girl and Boy", "Super Team", "Super Family" and more! Team awards include "Best Team Name" and largest teams in 4 categories. 5K awards include awards for top 3 M/F finishers in age categories: 0-8, 9-15, 16-21, 22-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ and Overall M/F, Overall M/F Masters

Fundraising

Gather your own Justice League and fundraise for CASA of Tarrant County! All proceeds benefit abused and neglected children in Tarrant County. You can donate to support a current participant by clicking on the "Donate to participant" tab on the left. You can also donate yourself or as a team by clicking on the red "Donate Now" button to the left. Top fundraisers receive special recognition at the awards ceremony, as well as VIP wristbands to the NEW Hospitality Suite, featuring breakfast, beverages, climate controlled lounge and MORE! Winners will be announced at 8am on race day.

NEW Virtual 5K Option

Run a 5K at the location of your choice with this discounted option. Track your run through the ASICS Runkeeper App and receive a digital finisher certificate! Participants also receive a t-shirt. Run anytime during the month of October!
