Take part in the Major League Baseball All-Star 5k Run/Walk. This once-in-a-lifetime event features a 5k run/walk on a scenic downtown course that was created just for this event. There will also be a 1k fun run for kids and families with team mascots.
Post-race festivities will include breakfast, refreshments, music, and a beer garden.
Your Registration Is an Extra-Base Hit
Since 1993 the Rockies charitable focus has been dedicated to keeping kids in the game physically, academically, and mentally. The mission of the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club Foundation is to support our disadvantaged and at-risk youth. Through programs for youth baseball and softball, education, literacy, and along with children's health and wellness initiatives, the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club is able to reach out with positive messages and promote good citizenship through the medium of sport.
You can make your donation on behalf of, in honor of, or in memory of an individual, company, or group.
Each paid registrant will receive:
- A commemorative All-Star 5k t-shirt
- Free admission to MLB’s Play Ball Park at the Colorado Convention Center. All you have to do is show your bib to get into Play Ball Park following the race on Saturday. Also, during packet pickup, on either Thursday, July 8, or on Event Day, you will have the chance to get 2 additional tickets for either Monday, July 12, or Tuesday, July 13 to go to Play Ball Park
- Timed and scored racecourse
- Great post-race afterparty
The event includes:
- Awards will be given to the top 3 male and top 3 female athletes

If you registered after July 5th packet pickup will be on race day in Civic Center Park.

IS THERE A FIRST AID STATION?
But, of course! An ambulance will be available at the Finish Line (14th & Bannock) near Civic Center Park.
CAN I WEAR HEADPHONES?
Bring Kendrick, The Weekend, Beyonce, or JT along for the run! We ask that you keep it to a safe volume when on the racecourse - you should be able to hear people approaching and race officials.
ARE BABY JOGGERS ALLOWED?
You betcha! Just be sure you line up with your stroller or baby jogger at the back of the starting area to avoid injury and help manage traffic flow. Kids in strollers ride free.

CAN MY DOG COME TO THE EVENT?
We LOVE our dogs, but for their safety, only people are allowed on the racecourse. For your pet's comfort, we recommend leaving them at home.
WHAT ABOUT IN-LINE SKATES, BIKES, OR SKATEBOARDS
Wheels, runners, and crowds do not blend well. The MLB All-Star 5K is a running event, and insurance restrictions require us to exclude these from the event. We ask that you adhere to this request to avoid injury and help manage traffic flow. Unless it's a wheel chair, leave it at home.
OH NO, SOMETHING CAME UP! CAN I GET A REFUND?
Race registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. We know that life happens and plans can change. However, pre-event costs mandate this uniform policy. And, it is the only way we can all play fair with our action figures. Be sure to have a buddy swing by our packet pick-up location to receive your spiffy shirt! Or consider donating your entry, we receive requests from our local firefighter groups and other non-profit running groups.
