Help Sandie raise money

For participating in COMPASS TO CARE'S ANNUAL 5K

My Story…

Please consider joining me in this 5k, or by donating to this worthy cause. Cancer at any age is scary and life-changing, but especially for kids. I have never been a runner, but I'm going to try my best! If Molly can tackle her cancer like a warrior, I can take up this challenge to support her and other children fighting cancer!

Description

I am participating in the Compass to Care's Annual 5K for Kids with Cancer virtual race on September 18th. I have decided to GO THE EXTRA MILE and raise funds to help more children travel for cancer treatment and I need your help!

Did you know that one in three children diagnosed with cancer must travel at least 60 miles to access cancer treatment?  And while we have been social distancing, these children have continued in their fight against cancer because treatment cannot stop- even amid a pandemic.

For many many parents, paying for these trips to and from cancer treatment can become too much to handle.  That is why I am going the extra mile. I am raising funds so I can help these children travel as many miles as necessary to fight for a cure from cancer.

I ask you to please donate to help me reach my fundraising goal.  Together we can help kids fight cancer, one mile, one trip, one life at a time.

I encourage you to visit www.CompassToCare.org to learn more about how your support makes a difference for our youngest cancer fighters.
