RUN FOR YOUR LIFE 5K
Bring your family and friends (even the furry ones) to run for a cause and for fun at our 3rd annual Run For Your Life 5K Color Run! You can help us spread awareness about substance misuse in Alachua County and help us fundraise to continue providing prevention services to youth and adults in our community.
There will be raffle prize tickets such as Nike gift cards and medication lockboxes, a light breakfast, and 5K completion medals available for all participants. There will also be community agencies such as Meridian Behavioral Healthcare and UF Health Florida Recovery Center tabling at the event so you can learn more about programs in your area. Additionally, at 8:00 am there will be a Warm-Up Session from Anytime Fitness Gainesville as well as a Narcan demonstration from UF Health Florida Recovery Center to help you reverse an opioid overdose.
Register now to save on Early Bird prices until September 12th and your registration will include a free runners t-shirt. If you register between September 13th and 25th, you can purchase a runner's shirt for $8 while supplies last. There will also be shirts available at Check-In/Registration on the day of the event for $10 each.

8:00 am - 8:30 am Substance Misuse Presentation and Warm Up Session
8:30 am - 9:30 am Color Run 5K
9:30 am - 10:00 am Wrap Up/Medals
All proceeds from this event will help support the Alachua County Health Promotion and Wellness Coalition, a non-profit organization that strives to prevent youth substance abuse and provide various health promotional opportunities to Alachua County residents.
