Annapolis County is one of the most beautiful places in the world. We truly have it all - water views, forestry, and agricultural landscapes - and we want to show it off during our Annapolis County Canada Proud Contest.
We are asking you to decorate for the upcoming Canada Day celebrations. Everyone is encouraged to showcase a red geranium (Annapolis County’s flower) and a symbol that represents Canada.
There will be four categories with a $100 winner in each one: 1) Home 2) Cottage/trailer 3) Community (i.e. community all, community park) and 4) Other (i.e. bike, boat) Be creative!
The first 50 people to register will get a FREE red geranium for their display. Those who qualify will be notified via email with details regarding pick up.
The judging will be done via photos so we ask that you send your pictures to canadaproud@annapoliscounty.ca with the Subject Line: Canada Proud Contest. Photos cannot be no more than 10mb. Please specify the category of your entry in the body of the email.
Deadline for registration extended: Thursday, June 24th, 4:30 pm
Deadline for entries: Monday, June 28th, 12:00 pm
