Riverside Oaks - In Exile 5K & Half Mile Run/Walk

This Event is planned as a LIVE - ON THE GROUND Run/Walk. A Virtual registration / participation option is available ( see details below )

On-Line registration closes at midnight, October 25th

* Registration in person will be available at pre-race day packet pickup ( see details below ) and on the day of race at the race site.

ENTRY FEES: Payable to NORSI ( All entry fees are non refundable )

Open Division ( Ages 18-64 ) $25.00 by August 31st, $30.00 by October 24th and at pre - race day packet pickup event. $35.00 day of race at race site

Senior Division ( Age 65-over ) $20.00 by October 24th and at pre-race day packet pickup event. $25.00 day of race

Youth Division ( Age 17-under ) $15.00 by October 24th and at pre race day packet pickup event,, $20.00 day of race

Race Day Registration payable via Credit / Debit Card, Check, Cash ( no bills over $20.00 please )

Virtual Division ( all ages ): Registered by August 31st - $25.00, Registered by October 24th - $30.00 ( T-Shirt, Race Bib Number will be mailed out to Virtual event entrants. Mailing is scheduled for week after the race date )

PACKET PICKUP: ( T-Shirt, Bib number with timing chip affixed to back )

Pre-Race day - Thursday, October 28th ( 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm ) hosted by Varsity Sports, 525 Harrison Avenue, New Orleans

or Packet Pickup on the day of race at the race site opening at 7:00 am

Race Day Location / Parking details:

Laketown - Kenner lakefront , 6000 Williams Blvd. ( Williams at the Lake )

NOTE: The race name denotes Riverside, however the event is on the lakefront Please denote !!!!

( Parking available on the lakefront just west of the boat launch ( limited ) , also parking on south side of levee in the large parking lot between Williams Blvd. and the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. Please do not park in the casino lot or in the lot west of the Pontchartrain Center.

T-Shirts: CHECK OUT OUR GREAT DESIGN... Size guaranteed to pre-registered only. T-shirts day of race distributed as available, size not guaranteed.

AWARDS and SCORING:

Event is Chip timed, your timing chip is affixed to reverse side of bib number. Do not fold or remove timing chip. Please make sure your bib number is visible during the event. Check name label on back of bib to confirm name is YOU. !

1/2 Mile: 1st Overall Male and Female, 1st and 2nd place age groups: 6-under, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-17

5K: Overall and Age group award divisions: 1st Overall Male and Female: Gift card for pair of Brooks shoes courtesy of Brooks and Varsity Sports

Age groups ( 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place ) Male and Female: 10-under, 11- 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-over.

Race Walkers: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall Male and Female ( * Please check in Race Walker table to be eligible for awards in the race walker division )
