Congratulations ACR Virtual 5K Finishers!
Thank you for getting active with the ACR in the first-ever ACR Virtual 5K and for making this event a success! Your participation in the 5K helped to bring together the entire ACR global community in a fun and interactive virtual fitness experience.
Cumulatively, 577 members of the ACR community registered for the ACR Virtual 5K to run, walk , or bike 885+ kilometers (548+ miles), across 57 countries around the world, including the United States, Colombia, Egypt, and Portugal, to name a few!
Prize Announcements
Thank you to all of our 5K registrants who participated by submitting results and posting a 5K snapshot to the photo gallery. All eligible participants were entered into prize drawings and randomly selected to win one of two $100 American Express gift cards, courtesy of the ACR.
Congratulations to our first 5K prize drawing winner, Gale A. McCarty, MD from Santa Monica, California! Gale participated in the ACR Virtual 5K Bike event.
Congratulations to our second 5K prize drawing winner, Ruth Fernandez Ruiz from New York City, New York! Ruth participated in the ACR Virtual 5K Run event.
A special thank you to everyone who allowed us to join in their 5K fun by sharing their 5K snapshot to the official ACR Virtual 5K photo gallery! Of the 157 members of the ACR community that shared photos of their 5K experience, one was randomly selected to win a $100 American Express gift card, courtesy of the ACR.

You must be an ACR/ARP member or registered ACR Convergence 2021 participant and have participated in the ACR Virtual 5K to be eligible for the prize drawing(s). Two winners from the eligible 5K events and one participant that shared at least one photo to the photo gallery will be randomly selected for the prize drawing(s). Winners of the prize drawings will be contacted by the ACR using the email address provided at registration to claim their prize(s).
Follow the instructions below to upload photos to the official ACR Virtual 5K photo gallery and be entered into a prize drawing to win a $100 American Express gift card, courtesy of the ACR!
1. Select the “Photo gallery” tab on the left of your screen to be directed to the official photo gallery.
2. Type your name (or the name used for registration) into the search bar in the middle of the screen.
3. Select the “Upload Photos” button directly below the search bar and upload photos directly from your desktop or device.
4. You will be directed to a page where you may edit your photo by adding filters or stickers, as indicated at the top of the page. Once finished, select the “Done” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
5. Next, add some styling to your photo by selecting one of the ACR Virtual 5K overlays. Hit “Save” to complete the upload.
6. Use the icons at the bottom of your screen to share your photo directly to Twitter or Facebook using #ACR21. Photos may also be emailed or downloaded and saved directly to your desktop or device.
Whether you decide to walk, run, or bike, the ACR wants to reward you for completing the ACR Virtual 5K your way! Register and submit your 5K results to be entered into the prize drawings for a chance to win one of two $100 American Express gift cards, courtesy of the ACR.
Increase your odds of winning by posting to the official ACR Virtual 5K Photo Gallery to share your Virtual 5K experience! For every photo shared, eligible participants will be entered into a prize drawing for a $100 American Express gift card, courtesy of the ACR.
