Barebones Run 2021

The Barebones Run is a fund raiser for the Lethbridge & District Humane Society with
proceeds from the race going towards helping with the expenses to care for the cats and dogs at the Lethbridge & District Humane Society, these could include food, supplies, vet care etc.

****IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING EVENT CHANGES FOR BAREBONES RUN 2021***

After much thought and careful consideration, the Board of Directors of the Lethbridge & District Humane Society have decided to change this year’s Barebones Run to a virtual event due to the increase in COVID-19 case numbers locally. The health and safety of all participants and volunteers is our main concern. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause and hope you know that we are also disappointed that we cannot host an in person event.

Race packages can be picked up at the Lethbridge & District Humane Society (2920 16 Ave N) on the following days:

Friday October 15, 2021 – 11:00am – 3:00pm

Saturday October 16, 2021 – 1:00pm – 4:00pm

Participants can run their 5KM anytime between Sunday October 17^th and Saturday October 23^rd. You will receive an email with a link where you can enter you time and download a finisher certificate. Emails will be sent to participants on Friday October 15^th.

We would also love if you would email pictures of you and your furry friends on your run to us so that we can post them on our Facebook page. (barebonesrun@gmail.com )

We will not be offering refunds as we have already ordered shirts, medals, etc. for the event which will be provided to participants at package pick up. At this time, we are not offering a deferral option as due to low numbers we are uncertain if we will be hosting an event next year. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your support.
