2021 Fall Virtual Walk

The NILMDTS Remembrance Walk,

“Our Journey Together”

is for parents, family members, and friends

to come together to remember

a precious baby who has died due to

miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS,

neonatal or any type of pregnancy or infant loss.

Join us for the 2021 NILMDTS Fall Virtual Walk taking place on Saturday, October 2, 2021. The Virtual Walk is open to everyone!

The NILMDTS Virtual Walk is an opportunity to bring honor to our babies and healing to our hearts. The Virtual Walk also ensures future support to families who will sadly walk in our shoes one day.

The Virtual Walk will include an online presentation with readings, music, and speakers to honor your baby. During the presentation, each baby is honored by having his or her name read aloud. Following the presentation, a Virtual Resource Library including additional speakers and musicians will also be available. Attendees are encouraged to take some personal time to journey with their friends and family for a one-mile reflective walk in their own community. Together, we will create the same sense of community and support found at our in-person walks.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Online registration is available until Friday, September 3rd at midnight.

$18.00 Child - includes a Walk T-shirt.*

*Please note that you cannot add baby names to child registrations.

**Only 1 Program Book will be included per shipping address.

BABY NAMES

When you register by midnight on Friday, September 3rd your baby's name will be included on the back of the Walk T-shirt list, program book list, and read aloud during the online presentation. No additional baby names can be added after online registration closes.

ONLINE PRESENTATION

The presentation will be available online starting on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 9:00 am Mountain Time. Participants will be provided with detailed instructions on accessing the walk presentation via email days before the event. Following the presentation, a Virtual Resource Library including additional speakers and musicians will also be available.

BUTTERFLIES

Participants have the opportunity to receive a butterfly growing kit through team fundraising efforts. See all personalized gifts and fundraising dates here. Watch the transformation from caterpillars to chrysalides, to beautiful Painted Lady butterflies that you can release on October 2nd following the virtual presentation. Butterfly kits are not available for purchase.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Registration and add on purchase fees (additional walk shirts, misc products, etc) are nonrefundable under all circumstances, including, but not limited to, cancellation of the event or of your participation, or change in the date and/or time, nature, or format of the event. An event may be canceled or changed due to factors that threaten the safety of participants, staff, or volunteers. The money collected through registration fees will be used to propel the NILMDTS mission forward.

If any walk is canceled or changed, all participants will be notified via the email that you provided in your registration, and the information will be posted on our social media pages and our website: www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org.
