Due to a recent back injury to our race director Thomas Walls, this event is currently postponed - Thomas is undergoing therapy and working with the speedway to find a new date for this event in early 2022. Everyone who has signed up has already been issued a refund, Each registered participant will also receive a complementary invitation to register for the new date as soon as it is finalized.
Vertigo Challenge - 12 Hours Pensacola will test even the best of endurance cyclists with not only physical endurance but mental endurance, too.
Starting at 7:00 AM cyclists will take to the Five Flags Speedway, a half mile banked track to turn as may laps as possible within the 12 hour time limit.
The 1/2 mile track will be fast with 15 degree banking in the turns and 9 degree banking on the straightaways.
Awards will be given in several categories including FASTEST LAP, DISTANCE, SOLO, and TEAM.
12 Hours Pensacola is a road race. Drafting is allowed and time trail bikes are not permitted.
Extensive infield garage area will allow for plenty of tech space, pop-up tents are allowed. Live entertainment and on-site concessions will also be available.
