The Regina Beach trail race is a fun summer event with 5, 10 and 15 km options for runners to explore the Regina Beach area along paved trails, along roads and more rugged trails for longer distances. There is also a Children's race of 700 meters. By tradition, food will follow the race. Due to Covid guidelines, it will be a take-away breakfast.
The Children's race will start at 9 AM. When they are finished then the 10 K and 15 K races will start. (Likely at around 9:20 AM) The 5 K will start 10 minutes after the start of the 10 K and 15 K. There are no medals.
The proceeds for this year's race will go to Theo's Challenge. Theo is a 6 year old boy who suffers from Batten Disease, a rare genetic disease that has robbed him of many of his abilities. Doug and Marilyn Leask, who host this annual event, are Theo's grandparents. Funds raised will be used to assist in paying for treatments not covered by health care. Your participation is greatly appreciated.
