The St. Clair Challenge
July 1st - August 31st, 2021

The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority (SCRCA) is celebrating its 60th Anniversary in 2021 and to recognize this milestone we are launching the first-ever St. Clair Challenge – an event that will encourage our watershed residents to get out and explore the natural areas in our region – all while raising funds to support local conservation efforts.

Between July 1st and August 31st, 2021, challenge yourself or your team to walk, run, hike, bike, or paddle along trails or waterways located in the SCRCA watershed. Create a goal by choosing one of our distance challenges, then break out your walking shoes, hiking boots, mountain bikes, and/or canoes and kayaks to explore local natural gems and start logging your adventures.

**The top FOUR fundraisers will receive an SCRCA camping prize pack including a two-night stay at one of the SCRCA's three regional campgrounds.**

How to participate:

1) Register below for your preferred challenge. You can participate individually, or invite your family and friends to join you as a team.

2) Visit our 'Explore the St. Clair Region' page to pick the destination for your next adventure.

3) Get outside and have fun! Be sure to track each of your activities from July 1- August 31, 2021 and upload your activities to your participant dashboard.

4) Celebrate our 60th Anniversary with us by sharing your adventures on Facebook and Instagram! #CelebratingStClair #StClairChallenge #60YearsOfStClair.

Your fundraising efforts and donations will support the St. Clair Region Conservation Foundation – a registered, charitable organization that raises funds to support the conservation programs of the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority. Funds raised will help support a number of environmental programs including conservation education, tree planting, wetland creation, species at risk research, and upgrades to local conservation area facilities and amenities.
