Childhood Cancer comes in numerous forms besides the mental and financial hardships that those families deal with. The treatment regimen is gruelling, often outdated, and lasts long.
In many cases, treatment lasts for 3.5 years or 1277 days if you want to look at it that way. Compare how you felt dealing with 490 days of covid and multiply that from a time point only. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and you can choose to go virtual all month long. Please Join the Journey to end Childhood Cancer, and let's get virtual.
Anyone can participate, just put on your sneakers (gold ones, if you got '''em), head out the door, walk, run bike, on your favourite path, stroll in the park, hike a mountain trail, do what tickles your fancy. Just record those kilometers all in support of helping families with uncovered medical and travel expenses, Childhood Cancer research, and raising awareness.
Pick your distance, or register a group and target the 1,277 km challenge. No matter what your speed, method, or distance preferred will be, together, we can treat, fight, and Win!
