TWO EMPOWERING RACES!
Run to EMpower supports and promotes the advancement of women’s running in Canada, encouraging all women to own their place on the podium.
Endeavoring to highlight remarkable local talent, Run to EMpower includes a performance race for women only, provides an opportunity for all humans to run together in celebration of women’s running, and looks to inspire the next generation by introducing young runners to strong, empowered role models.
In an effort to offer participants the opportunity to reduce their environmental footprint and support their community, Run Ottawa has initiated a Green Bib option at registration. The Green Bib does not include a race t-shirt (unless purchased) or medal, instead, $10 of your registration fees will go to Cornerstone Housing for Women, and your contribution will be matched by the 2021 Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend Green Bib Fund. You can also top up your donation at the end of the registration process. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: COVID vaccination (2x) is required to participate, and proof of vaccination will be required to be presented at race kit pick-up.

OTTAWA’S FASTEST WOMEN 5K presented by Bushtukah Closed
Performance race for all women 12+ (cisgender and transgender). Must have run sub 22:00 5K after September 1, 2018, or run an acceptable/equivalent result (you will be prompted to upload your time and race during registration). Registration includes medal, timing, free downloadable race photos, post-race snacks, 15% off promo code for the Run Ottawa shop (emailed immediately following registration), and a 473 mL can of Kichesippi Beer’s Warrior Woman APA (19+). Shirts are available for purchase during registration. COVID vaccination (2x) required to participate.
