WELCOME BACK HAMILTON, WE MISSED YOU!

After a year of uncertainty we are all anxious to once again step over a timing mat for an in-person event! It's been long enough, we're all more than ready!

Given the accelerated vaccine roll out, we at the Hamilton Marathon are extremely hopeful that we will be able to host something IN-PERSON this fall!

As the future is still uncertain, we will be opening limited registration and will add spaces pending approval from the City as things begin to open up. Please note first right of refusal will go to registered participants from the 2020 Ancaster Mill Race and the 2020 Road2Hope. At this time, we will be opening registration for a 5K, 10K and Half marathon only. We will not be opening registration for a 1K kids run as we do not have the ability to run this event while adhering to appropriate and safe social distancing guidelines.

Cancellation Policy:

It is our sincere hope that we will be able to host this event for you on November 6th and 7th of this year. With numbers trending in the right direction, we have every reason to assume that we will see you at the finish line! But as we have all seen first hand, this virus has made many things uncertain and as such we would like to be fully transparent in our cancellation policy for 2021.

Please note there will be no deferrals to 2022. If we are unable to host an event in the fall for any reason we will switch to a virtual platform only with no deferral option. For those who wish to withdraw, we will offer a 75% refund.

Why only 75?

We are a small business that operates year round with a small amount of employees as well as storage facilities and other associated costs that bring you this beloved event. We will need to use small portions of your registration dollars to begin the planning for this event and we will be proceeding with every expectation of hosting this race. If the government decides to shut us down again in the fall, we will not be in a position to provide you with a 100% refund.
