Welcome to the BCT class 2111-2120 get moving challenge! The goal of this challenge is to get moving and raise funds for two very deserving organizations. You can select your challenge below and either step, walk, run, roller blade, bike, or swim your way to either 94 or 268 kilometres. You choose the challenge that challenges you and you can choose to fundraise for one or both of the organizations.
You can use any activity that you can track a distance with and use any combination of activities you would like and since this is a virtual challenge you can complete your challenge anywhere, at your own pace and log your kilometres on our results leaderboard!
It is easier than you think for example each day just walking from class to class or partaking in practicals as a student at OPC you are walking an average of 7000 steps a day! That is 7kms! Just by doing that each day for a month you will have walked over 100kms! Now just think how far you can go when you add in your workout activities!
When you register you can join your class team and compete against other classes to be the top 3 fundraising classes and win some awesome prizes!
1st place class/team will be exempt from the final inspection, stand to inspection and get Freezies.
2nd place class/team will choose to either be exempt from the final Inspection OR stand to inspection
3rd place class/team will be exempt from the remaining inspection that the 2nd place team did not select.
In lieu of a registration fee we suggest donating $30 or whatever you can. You can also share your class team fundraising page with family and friends and anyone else you would like!
The two organizations we have selected to fundraise for include The Legacy of Hope Foundation and V-EH! Veterans and Everyday Heroes.
July 20th, 2021(12:00hrs) is the final day for donations to be counted towards the class prize. Fundraising totals will be calculated and the winning class announced.
August 8th, 2021 is the last day to upload your results.
