Welcome to the Trot Thru the Woods

The Trot Thru the Woods is an annual 5k and fun run through the beautiful Warson Woods residential streets. We pride ourselves on putting on a very fun, family oriented event. It is organized by the Warson Woods Running Club.

We put on one of the most fun races in town. The 5k is priced right and the fun run is free if you sign up by the end of October! We have great swag, free pictures of the race and, of course, the the famous running turkey!

This year's race will be held on Saturday November 20th at Royal Oaks Park (900 Warson Woods Dr, 63122). The 5k starts at 8:00 A.M. sharp followed by the fun run at 9:00.

Packet pickup is on Friday November 19th from 3:00 to 6:00 also at Royal Oaks Park.

Parking is available on race day morning at Royal Oaks Park and behind City Hall (10015 Manchester Road, 63122). Please arrive early as parking is limited.

Race day amenities include free pictures which will be published within 48 hours after the race. There will also be the famous running turkey.

Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female runners. In addition, age group awards will be presented to the top male and female in the following age groups: 8 & under, 9-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.

All kid fun run participants will receive a cookie medal!
