The Friends of the Public Libraries of Cullman County are committed to investing not only in our libraries - but also in our patrons.
It might sound strange to think of libraries as an investment, studies indicate they are crucial economic engines. The Cullman County libraries are an economic and social lifeline for ALL Cullman residents.
1. Libraries expose kids to reading
2. Libraries provide non-reading resources
3. Libraries strengthen community ties
4. Libraries cards are free
Libraries offer so many resources to kids and adults alike. They can be truly life-changing for people who otherwise would not have access to educational and recreational activities.
The Cullman County libraries offer a suite of free resources to help unemployed or under-employed citizens find gainful employment. Free Internet access and computer usage allows people to hunt for jobs, interact with potential employers, and prepare applications.
Friends of the Public Libraries of Cullman County's mission is to support library services and programs for ALL by fundraising and encouraging community awareness.
T-shirts will be available for pick-up at the Cullman Library after October 15.
