The Banff Winterstart 5 Miler Night Run starts in the wonderfully scenic town of Banff, Alberta. The course is an out and back route along Banff Avenue and up Tunnel Mountain Road. The twist??? The race is at night, in the dark!
Feel free to dress up, bring your friends and make a weekend out of it!
All proceeds go the the Banff Alpine Racers to help with their programs throughout the season.
After having to take last year off due to the pandemic we are back in full force this year. We are looking forward to putting on a great event!

We will be following all provincial health measures come race day. As the situation is still fluid we do not know exactly what that will look like. But it could include things such as a staggered start, contactless package pickup, etc.

Refund Policy
In the event that the race is cancelled due to Covid-19 related issues we will be offering each participant an 80% refund. As per our usual policy there will be no refunds given for any other reason.
