4th Annual MR8K

Grab your gloves and don your winter hat and join us for the 4th Annual MR8K! Presented by Boston Landing, the MR8K is a 5-mile (8K) race that begins and ends at Boston Landing, home of the Warrior Ice Arena and the future New Balance Track & Field complex. The new, two-loop course takes runners on a scenic tour of Brighton's beautiful neighborhoods. Fast, flat roads mixed with rolling hills make for a unique, yet challenging race experience for runners of all abilities.

As the signature event for the Martin Richard Foundation, the MR8K builds community spirit while raising crucial funds to support the work of the foundation as well as community organizations that advance its values of inclusion, kindness, justice, and peace. The event is open to runners, walkers, para-athletes, and families of all ages and abilities.

*Please bring your reusable water bottles marked with your name, a mask and warm clothes.

SATURDAY, DEC 4 - Day Of Scheduled Events

6AM Guest Street CLOSES from Life Street to Arthur Street

8AM Race Day Registration OPEN @ 125 Guest Street Runners will pick up

their bib, pom pom hat, gator and Boston Landing Coupon Book

125 Guest Street will also have a bag check, lost and found, and general information

9:30AM Kids Race START

PARKING

$5 PARKING @ 15 Guest Street. Guests should plan to leave Boston Landing before 3pm to ensure the reduced rate

WATER

For Runners, during the race, water will be available at the water stop near McKinney Playground on Faneuil St. Runners will pass this twice as well as at the end of the race.

For those that want to refill their water bottles there are water filling stations on Levels 2 and 3 of the Warrior Ice Arena Building @ 90 Guest St, Boston, MA 02135

RESTROOMS/ PORTA POTTIES

Porta Potties will be under the under building arch besides Rail Stop

AFTER-PARTY at PARTICIPATING BOSTON LANDING BUSINESSES!

Each runner will have two tickets on their bib towards a designated drink

menu offered at each location

FLATBREAD @ 76 Guest St. Complimentary pizza, salad, and drinks (while supplies last), & Live Music by Certain Treble from 11:15-12:45 Bowling lanes will reopen following band performance

RAIL STOP @ 96 Guest St. Complimentary comfort food and drinks (while supplies last) and in house DJ.

MAINELY BURGER @133 Guest St. Runners receive $10 per person towards their Mainely Burger order and receive a free Spindrift (while supplies last)
