Lethbridge Police Run

UPDATE

Due to the Alberta restrictions and guideline announced yesterday, September 15th, we are very saddened to announce that we are unable to offer the Lethbridge Police run as planned. We hope that we can all come together and remember why we registered for this run in the first place - to show our support for all of our Special Olympic Athletes! Let’s show our Athletes that nothing is going to stand in our way and we are going to run for them anyway!

Remember: ALL money raised for this event goes directly to our Special Olympic Athletes.

Due to the cancellation there are 3 options for registrations:

Option 1 - Participants are encouraged to still run virtually. (No times and no set course) Post pictures and any other messages with their shirts and medals to show our athletes that nothing is going to get in our way. We can’t all gather at the start line but we can all celebrate these amazing Athletes & show our support by lacing up and running our races virtually, together in spirit!

With this option you will still get your BIB, Race Shirt, Medal and your name will go into the draw for some amazing random bib draws!

Option 2 - Defer your registration for next year’s LPS run through Race Roster. This guarantees you a spot for next year, and next year’s entry will already be paid for J.

With this option, you will NOT receive this year’s shirt or medal, nor will your name be entered for the random draws.

Option 3 - request a full refund.

With this option, you will not receive this year’s shirt or medal, nor will your name be entered for the random draws.

Again, we are deeply saddened to have to cancel this run, especially so close to the date, but safety must be our priority!

We want to THANK the 400 runners who registered and we want to especially thank the 100 VOLUNTEERS who were going to come and support this amazing cause!!

For those who are choosing to run virtually (we hope all of you!) package pick up will be at the same time and location:

Sandman Signature Lodge, 320 Scenic Drive South

10:00 am until 6:00 pm.

We will ensure social distancing protocols are in place. If you do attend, please be sure to wear a mask & adhere to all Covid-19 safety protocols.
