Law Enforcement, emergency medical/fire services, 911 dispatch, veterans, military personnel navigate the challenges associated with post traumatic and occupational stress injuries. Funds raised will support the mental wellness initiatives with Legacy Place Society and Unyielding K9 Emergency Response Team.
The 24 walk starts at Avonroy Garden's (Strathcona County Camrose Alberta) and wraps up at the Beaver EMS station in Viking Alberta.
Ways to participate: walk the 24 hr event in person, walk a distance or time segment on your own, complete a distance or time segment virtually chosen scenery, sponsor a participant, donate.
The walk send off starts at 10am on Sept 11th. There will be food, beverages and opportunity to rest along the 100km route. Participants receive a t-shirt and a swag bag. A pilot vehicle and truck with 35' camper trailer will accompany the group. Pavement is flat. Holden Fire is the 1/2 point win which we hope to reach by 10pm. More details to follow.
