Our story…
As a group, our Board of Directors team is extremely dedicated to improving upon the lives and welfare of the pets in our community. We fully support the mission of our organization which states that our infinite goal is to support & improve the lives of New Mexico’s cats & dogs through sheltering, adoptions, humane education & veterinary services. We envision a society in which every animal is treated with unwavering respect & compassion.
Even through our latest obstacles (pandemic), the organization for which our team provides 110% support has survived and thrived in carrying out the above mission.

When you Dash, Dawdle or Donate, you’re helping pets on their journey to their forever homes.
As a private, nonprofit animal welfare organization, Animal Humane New Mexico receives no city, state or federal funding & relies exclusively on the ongoing generosity of fundraisers, corporate partners & compassionate friends, like you.
With your help, Animal Humane can continue their mission to improve the lives of homeless & at-risk dogs & cats through sheltering, adoptions, humane education & veterinary services.
By getting involved in Dash, you’re helping Animal Humane provide care for & re-home over 4,000 homeless cats & dogs from across the state each year & providing many resources for pets & pet owners in New Mexico.
