Join us to "Run with Rankin" and support the Churchill Center & School Scholarship Fund!

Churchill Center & School has a long-standing tradition of having our students run a mile in Motor Skills class. Supported by our Motor Skills Supervisor Mr. Rankin for the last 38 years, this activity allows our students to focus their attention on running and working toward a goal, which is something that carries with them throughout their time at Churchill and beyond. Many of our alumni include running the mile as one of their favorite Churchill memories!

Choose either a 1-mile (in person or virtual) or 5K course (virtual only) this year. Run in honor of your favorite Churchill student, teacher or anyone else! Medals will be awarded to top runners in each age bracket.


NEW THIS YEAR: Join us in person on Churchill's Valentine Field for a 1-mile race among students, faculty, alumni, family and friends!

  • Join us and run in-person at the Churchill School track. You must provide your estimated finish time, as we will be running the 1 mile in waves based on your estimated time.

Packet Pickup

Pickup location: Churchill Center & School, 1021 Municipal Center Drive, St. Louis, MO 63131 – Outside Plaza

Pickup Times: 12PM-3:30PM Monday 8/23 & Tuesday, 8/24

  • Your registration includes a soft cotton short-sleeve race t-shirt.
  • If you’d like to have your shirt shipped directly to you, please add Direct Shipping to your registration.
  • If you chose the in-person 1-mile race, you may also pick up your race packet beginning at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, August 25.


In-Person Race Times

In an effort to keep everyone as safe as possible, we're going to be staggering arrival times and have assigned race wave times by grade level. Please arrive no earlier than 30 minutes prior to your race time.


Grade 2 families | 5:30 PM
Grade 3 families | 5:50 PM
Grade 4 families | 6:10 PM
Grade 5 families | 6:30 PM
Grades 6 & 7 families | 6:50 PM
Grade 8 families | 7:10 PM
Faculty & Alumni-only Families | 7:10 PM

Awards

Winners will receive medals for best times in the following categories for both the 1-mile and 5K courses:

• Top Runner Overall (Male and Female)

• Top Runner by Age (Male and Female): 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59, 60+
