On Saturday, October 2, join us in the fight against hunger and participate in the 7th Annual Secret Meals 5K. This event will be held on UAH’s campus in Huntsville, AL and we encourage participants of all ages and abilities. 100 percent of the proceeds from this event will provide weekend food packs to help feed children in North Alabama through the Secret Meals For Hungry Children program.
REGISTRATION: $35
Race participants will receive a t-shirt, swag bag and medal once they cross the finish line. The top three male and female finishers for the 5K will receive a prize.
PACKET PICK-UP:
Participants can pick up their packets on Friday, October 1 from 3 - 6 p.m. at Alabama Credit Union’s UAH branch located at 851 John Wright Drive OR you can choose to get your packet on race day at 7 a.m.
RACE DAY:
Participant check-in begins at 7 a.m. and ends promptly at 7:30 a.m. at Alabama Credit Union's UAH branch. The race will begin at 8 a.m. and a Pet Zone will be provided, thanks to Animal Tracks.
Charger Cup:
UAH Students and Faculty in teams of 5 or more can compete to win the Charger Cup. Your teams lowest score will be dropped and the top four times will be added together to determine the winner. The winners will get their team name displayed on a plaque on the Charger Cup trophy to be displayed inside Alabama Credit Union's Charger Cove.
