Choose either our challenging run, enjoyable walk, or scenic shuffle around the pond. Prizes for top 3 5k finishers.
We are SO excited to see you on Saturday for the first annual SOME RUN! Please arrive at Bruce Central Park in Seagoville by 7:30 am. You don't want to miss our opening ceremony!

Early Packet Pick-Up: Friday Oct 1 from 11 am to 7 pm at the park gazebo directly across from the parking lot at Bruce Central Park. You can also pick up your packet the morning of the event. Get your bib number, t-shirt and more!
Parking: There is a large parking lot for Some Run participants. Volunteers will be directing traffic.
Check-in: Follow signs to the park gazebo and you'll see us! Please arrive by 7:30 am. We will show you where the starting line is for the shuffle and for the walk, roll and run.
Extras: Free gear check is available. There will also be $2 breakfast burritos and $3 fruit cups provided by Seagoville Citizens On Patrol.
Schedule of Events:
7 - 7:30 am: Packet pick-up and walk-up registration
7:30 - 8:00 am: Opening ceremony
8:00 am: 5K run begins with walkers and rollers behind
8:15 am: Shuffle begins
9:00 am: Awards ceremony begins
*Please note that the Some Run will take place rain or shine! In case of lightning, the start time will be delayed. We ask you to wait in your car until we get the all clear from the police.
The Some Run benefits the A-T Children’s Project. Ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T) is a rare, genetic disease causing a relentless loss of muscle control, immune system problems, and a strikingly high rate of cancer. Some run, some walk, some roll and some shuffle, and together we all make a difference.
Reduced hotel rates available at Best Western Executive Inn at 972-287-9100. Free Star Transit shuttle will provide transportation to the race.
