Come out and enjoy food, drinks, music, and of course a nice stroll around Deer Creek!!

Bring out your favorite muppet costume in honor of Kermit the Frog!

This is the Frog Fest Festival's 10th anniversary, and you will not want to miss it! The 2021 Frog Fest 5K is supported by the Mississippi River Project in partnership with Delta Health Alliance. The event is held in Leland, MS on October 2, 2021. Bring your family and friends to run with you, and stick around for the awards ceremony and Kid's Fun Run. Following the race, celebrate Frog Fest and all the other festivities. This event is full with activities such as arts & crafts, children's games, live music, cooking competition, and much more in honor of Jim Henson. See the schedule below.

Kids Fun Run

The Kid's Fun Run is free to all kids 12 and under supported by the Delta Wellness Center. Our goal is to promote healthy lifestyles to the youth and improve the health and well-being of the community.

5k Run

The 5k is one lap around Deer Creek and offers participants the opportunity to compete for awards. Participants are welcome to walk in the race.

Schedule of Events

7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. – Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up

9:00 a.m. – 5K

9:30 a.m. – Fun Run

10:00 a.m. - Awards Ceremony

10:00 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Frog Fest Festival

Parking

Parking will be available throughout downtown Leland. Certain areas will be inaccessible due to the race and the Frog Fest Festival. Plan to arrive early to ensure a good parking spot.

Registration

We encourage everyone to pre-register. You must pre-register by September 24th to guarantee your correct shirt size. Online registration ends at 12pm on September 30th. Race day registration is available. However, those registering the day of the race cannot be guaranteed a race shirt of your choice.
