Our gratitude to the generous sponsors who support the Moonlight Run
Lead Sponsor
Stanford Health Care, the Moonlight Run's first Lead Sponsor, joined the sponsor family in 2018, and they've continued their high level of support for the past three years. Stanford Health Care is dedicated to health, safety, comfort, and convenience, serving families in Palo Alto, the Bay Area, and beyond.
Corporate Sponsors
Our longest-running corporate partner, the Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati Foundation has been a corporate sponsor of the Moonlight Run since 1994. In 2020, the Wilson Sonsini Foundation and firm employees raised over half a million dollars through a matching-funds campaign to benefit organizations focused on racial justice, including Equal Justice Initiative, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Sutter Health & Palo Alto Medical Foundation joined our corporate sponsor team in 2005. Each year, they give millions of dollars in support and services to the areas they serve. They provide care for those who cannot afford it, fund education and research that will improve lives, and contribute to programs and organizations that provide healthcare access and services for those in need.
Stanford Federal Credit Union first appeared as a Moonlight Run sponsor in 2010, and they have been corporate sponsors since 2015. Stanford FCU’s mission is to improve financial lives in their community, and for their more than 77,000 members located around the world. Whether providing affordable banking, donating thousands of dollars, or volunteering in the community, Stanford FCU has been an important part of the Palo Alto community since 1959.
A proud member of the corporate sponsor team, Deleon Realty has supported the Moonlight Run since 2016. In the past, Deleon has partnered with WeHOPE during their coat drive and sponsored and cooked dinner for those at the shelter during the holiday season. They have also participated in the Adopt a Family Holiday Giving Program and the Adopt a Student Backpack Drive through the Bill Wilson Center.
Facebook became a corporate sponsor in 2017. Last year, in response to the shelter-in-place, Facebook partnered with various restaurants by purchasing and donating over 10,000 meals to frontline workers, nonprofits, and schools. In addition, they created ongoing food stability programs which feed over 1,000 families per week through the Community Mobile Market.
Wealth Architects joined the Moonlight Run family in 2017. The Mountain View wealth advisory firm strives to support children and families, emphasizing education and equal opportunity. Their commitment to building a wealthier community is reflected in their nonprofit leadership, charitable giving and matching programs, and regular volunteering efforts.
Our newest corporate partner, Kaiser Permanente, began sponsoring the Moonlight Run in 2018. As a nonprofit integrated health system with a mission to improve the health of their members and the communities they serve, Kaiser Permanente goes beyond delivering high-quality health care and beyond philanthropic donations. They leverage their resources, reach, and community partnerships to create healthier, more equitable communities for all. Last year they invested $1.41 billion in improving health and wellness in Northern California communities. They support community programs, they provide individual grants and they fund statewide efforts and multi-year initiatives to improve conditions for health. Learn more about these efforts in their annual Community Health Snapshot.
The Palo Alto Weekly's online sister publication, The Six Fifty, joined us as a sponsor in 2017. The Six Fifty is an online magazine celebrating life, culture and ideas around the San Francisco Peninsula, and it is a proud supporter of the charitable mission of the Moonlight Run and Holiday Fund.
