BStrong Together is a community coalition organization focused on enhancing the health and well-being of Barrington area children and youth in mind, body and spirit.
Focused on mental health, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, strong family and community connections, and positive parenting, BStrong Together provides educational programming, support and resources in our shared goal of raising healthy, happy, resilient and adaptable youth prepared to navigate the complex world of today and the future.
Join BStrong Together and our partners at Broncos Committed for the 5th Annual Joe Kelsch Memorial Run/Walk to support children, youth and families throughout the Barrington area.
This year's virtual event means that you can participate anytime, anywhere and still make a difference.
Make the race your own! It’s simple – just lace up your shoes and run, walk, or even bike the 5k or 1-mile race anytime between September 25th – October 10th and submit your time. A finisher medal will be mailed directly to you after the end of the event. Please see details below for how to submit your time.

- 2021 commemorative finisher medal mailed to you following the event

- Custom downloadable finisher certificate for those who submit their times

How to run our race virtually!
Below are details on running our virtual race!
- Run anytime between September 25th and October 10th, 2021.
- Choose your own course
- Most importantly….have fun and enjoy the time outside!
All participants will receive Finisher's Medal!
Follow these easy steps to prepare for your tracking:
TRACKING STEPS 1. Download the ASICS Runkeeper™ app to your phone and create an account or scroll down to log into an existing account Once you have completed your 5k distance in the app, save your workout and it will automatically post to Race Roster results. (This step must be followed from your mobile device) |
VIEWING AND POSTING MANUAL RESULTS If you plan to record using another software or tracking device or post manually from what is recorded on your watch, simply head here and "Submit Virtual Result" between September 25th and October 10th, 2021. |
FAQS:
- To record with tracking on the ASICS Runkeeper™ app, you will need to run or walk with your phone or with a connected wearable (see instructions below)
- You do not have to track with these technologies, it is optional!
