Wednesday Night at the Races for Kids - August 4, 2021

Onsite Registration is available for tonight's race (August 11) starting at 5 p.m.

Wednesday Night at the Races has become one of our most popular summer programs.

These races are FREE for children ages 12 and under and are held on Wednesday evenings in July and August.

The races will start at 6:00 p.m. on each of the dates listed below.

2021 Schedule
July 28 – Proctor High School
August 4 – Duluth East High School
August 11 – Superior High School
August 18 – Hermantown High School
August 25 – Wade Stadium

All sites are wheelchair and adaptive participant accessible. Please see a race official when you arrive.

The weekly event sees an average of 400 children participate each week and is a central pillar in the YAF’s mission to encourage area kids to live active and healthy lifestyles.

Every participant is a champion and receives a ribbon at the end of their event.

4 Years Old & Under – 1/8 mile
5 & 6 Years Old – 1/8 mile
7 & 8 Years Old – 1/4 mile
9 & 10 Years Old – 1/4 mile
11-12 Years Old – 1/2 Mile
