Atlanta JE Dunn Hammer Down 5k
Our course is USATF Certified and is a Peachtree Road Race Qualifier (GA15055WC)!!!
Join us for the 11th Annual Atlanta JE Dunn Hammer Down 5k on October 16, 2021!!! Presented by JE Dunn Construction Company and benefiting For the Hope Partnership and the Orange Duffel Bag Initiative. The race starts and finishes at JE Dunn Construction Company's office on Cumberland Parkway.
Bring your hill speed to this race! Runners with the fastest time up the Quarter Mile King/Queen of the Hill, beginning on Bert Adams Drive and reaching the top of Mt Wilkerson Pkwy, earns the title! We will have additional timing on the course to record the hill climb.
Hammer Down Run Participants Safety Guidelines
- Volunteers and staff will wear face masks and have hand sanitizer available
- Participants must wear a mask when not running.
- Masks are required at start and finish.
- Racers will be chip timed
- No water provided on course. Bottled water will be available at start and finish line
- Participants to keep moving after crossing the finish line to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
- Ceremony is outside with social distancing
- Cash will not be accepted at race day registration. Credit/Debit Card Only.

RACE SITE & PARKING
The race will be held at JE Dunn Construction, 2555 Cumberland Parkway SE, Atlanta, GA 30339.
Parking will be available on race day at Passion City Church: 2625 Cumberland Parkway SE, Atlanta, GA 30339 next door to the race starting point. Please look for signs directing you to parking areas.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION
Participants may register for the 5K run/walk/stroller division at the race site on Saturday morning beginning at 7:00 am. Race day entry fee is $30 for 5K, and $15 for 1K Fun Run (8 & under).
RACE NUMBER PICKUP
Race number pick up is race day from 7AM – 8:15AM.
