Kilometers for Kids

Kilometers for Kids presented by Firing Time Pottery is an annual 5k and 10k walk/run/hike for individuals and families (and their pets 😃) of all ages in support of Rebound Child & Youth Services. Rebound’s programs and services have helped vulnerable children and youth throughout Northumberland County with timely and responsive mental health and emotional supportive services over the last 24 years. All proceeds help enhance the development of our programs and services to ensure every child, youth, and family has the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.

In the spirit of community and commitment to wellness, Rebound announces our virtual Kilometers for Kids walk/run/hike event this year. Instead of joining together in person at Presqu’ile Provincial Park to celebrate wellness and raise funds for mental wellness in Northumberland County, we will engage together virtually.

Like last year, you will have a full week, from October 17-23, 2021 to complete your 5K or 10K walk, run, or hike. Alternatively, choose a different challenge altogether, such as dancing, skipping rope, or climbing. Take photos of your creative challenge and share it online using the hashtag #K4KVirtual2021 so we can build mental and emotional wellness as a community.

Student and senior rates are available! Select your age during registration and the discount will be applied at the checkout.

Our fundraising goal for #K4KVirtual2021 is $15,000! In addition to registering, each participant is asked to raise a minimum pledge of $75 to help us achieve this goal.
