The Canadian Mountain Running Association, in cooperation with Athletics Canada, BC Athletics and Handloggers Half Marathon Association will be hosting the 2021 Canadian Mountain Running Championships Classic Up & Downhill 10 km event on 4 September 2021 on Bowen Island. This event will be the main selection race for the Canadian national team that will compete at the 2021 World Mountain and Trail Running Championship in Thailand in February 2022. Note: Athletes must be members of BC Athletics or another provincial branch of Athletics Canada in order to be eligible to qualify for the national team.
Note: Please stay on public trails when you are touring the course. Camp Bow-Isle is not open to the public and so do not attempt to access the start and finish area until race day.
