Raise money for Stony Mountain Community Association
All donations made through the Stony Mountain Run will be used by the Stony Mountain Community Association (SMCA). The SMCA is a registered charity and a tax deductible receipt will be provided for donations of $10 or more.
The Stony Mountain Run has been the main fundraiser for the development of the walking/cycling trail network in Stony Mountain with over $25,000 raised to date and approximately 5km of trail built!
With the trail network largely complete now, the proceeds from this year's run will be used primarily to continue the SMCA's revitalization of Centennial Park and completion of Bison Bandstand as the cornerstone green space in the trail network. Plans include landscaping, washroom/outhouse facility, parking/access improvements, lighting/electricity provision and a fenced off-leash dog park!
