BrianMan 5K Walk/Run
Brian Huynh was a son, brother, fiancé, friend, experienced athlete, and so much more. He always encouraged those around him to stay active and loved participating in race events with friends and family. On September 19, 2020, Brian's life was cut short when he was struck and killed by a motorized vehicle while triathlon training on his bicycle. This 5K was created to honor Brian's memory and continue his legacy. Our goal is to bring awareness to motorists to watch out and share the road with cyclists and pedestrians as well as encourage a healthy lifestyle to all.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to Shape Up Fort Bend. Their mission is to promote activities that contribute to improving the mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health of all ages in the community. We chose to donate to this organization because we wanted to support a local organization whose mission aligned with how Brian chose to live his life and serve his community.
Registration is open to all ages. Registration includes a race bib, timing chip, participant tech shirt, and finisher medal.
We hope to see you there!
***We are completely sold out for all in-person registrations! Thank you for all your support!***
