Burlington WI Turkey Trot

Be part of a family-friendly Thanksgiving tradition. The Burlington Turkey Trot is a 5k run/walk through beautiful Burlington on Thanksgiving Day morning.

The event will be staged at Burlington High School, 400 McCanna Parkway, Burlington. The race will start on McCanna Parkway at 8:30 a.m. After the race come back to the high school for light refreshments and awards to the top three male and female runners in each age group. We will also announce the turkey and pie raffle winners after the race.

Race Packet Options - You will need to pick an option, either choose to pick up your packet on 11/22 (3-7pm) or 11/23 (9am-3pm) or choose to have your race packet mailed to the address used during online registration for an extra charge. (About a week prior to the race).

Registration will be online only and will close 10 business days prior to the event. There will be NO DAY OF REGISTRATION!

We are offering a team option. Teams must have at least three participants and time is calculated by combining the times of the top three finishers on each team. Awards will given to the top 3 teams. Be creative, we will give a prize to the most creative team name! There is no separate registration for teams; everyone must register as an individual. During the process you can either create a team or join a team that has already been formed.

Awards ceremony will follow the race in the school commons area.

No refunds will be issued, in the result of cancellation, participants have the option to participate virtually. ..

Participants have the option to run the race virtually, meaning they don't have to show up at Burlington High School on Thanksgiving morning to run or walk. You can participate on your own time. You will still receive a shirt and number in the mail. However you will not qualify for the race and will not get an official result. When registering simply choose the virtual option.
