LISTEN I MATTER ORANGE SHIRT DAY
RUN/WALK THE SPIT
Our goal is; to bring awareness to the impacts of Indian Residential School; to honor Residential School Survivors and the children who did not return home; to encourage health and wellness through movement.
Listen I Matter Orange Shirt Day is a 5k or 10K RUN/WALK event hosted by Kwakiutl District Council Health.
Registrants will receive an orange t-shirt and light refreshments.
There will be stagger start times by having groups start every hour on the hour from 6:00am to 6:00pm.
This FREE event is open to everyone. We will accept donations with your registration. Donations will go to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society
Event starts at KDC Health Office (Campbell River)1400 Drake Road to Tyee Spit returning to KDC Health Office
