Run for the Champions Virtual 5k
Lace up your sneakers and walk, run, jog or bike a 5k anytime before November 30 to benefit SkillsUSA Florida! There are additional prizes available for fundraising, and all registrants will receive a collectible medal and t-shirt! Post a selfie on social media in your t-shirt and medal and use the hashtag #RunForTheChampions for a chance to win a $50 Visa gift card!
What is SkillsUSA Florida?
SkillsUSA Florida is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry working together to ensure we have a skilled, qualified, and prepared workforce. Our nation is facing an every-widening gap between the skilled jobs we have, and the employees we need to fill them. Our students are enrolled in career and technical education programs across the state, and we work to develop their personal, workplace, and technical skills grounded in academics to prepare them for future career success. Each year, we host leadership training and technical skill competitions, creating opportunities for students to build their skills, develop as a leader, and connect with business and industry leaders.
Chapter Fundraising
This event is a great chapter fundraiser, with 25% of the funds raised by each chapter going directly towards conference registration fees! Register for the 5k, set up a team for your chapter, and use the email and social media templates to raise funds!
For example - if your chapter raises $2,200, you'll receive a $550 credit* on your state conference registration invoice! That's like sending 5 students to the state conference for FREE!
*Credit may be assigned to the 2022 State Leadership and Skills Conference only. Funds may not be held over for future events. If the amount of the credit exceeds the total invoice amount, the remaining amount of the credit is forfeited. Credits are not transferable between schools or chapters.

$201 and above = 50% off State Conference Registration**
**Individual conference registration discount will be applied only to the 2022 State Leadership and Skills Conference. Individual discounts may be combined with chapter fundraising credit.
