How does the 2021 Microsoft Virtual 5K work?

You can walk, run, cycle, or move at your own pace and on your own time. You choose the date, route, and location. Complete a 5K anytime between October 4-31.

How and when do I register?

Is this event open only to Microsoft employees?

No, anyone can register and participate including kids, friends, family, and vendors. Please note that registrants must have a US address.

Can kids participate?

Yes, you can register a child or teen participant in the Youth category. Keep in mind that the superhero cape is designed for ages 10 and under.

How much of my registration donation goes to the charities?

100% of proceeds from the registration donations will go to the charities.

Why does this registration site collect age information?

Please note we are required to collect age information for registrants in accordance with COPPA but will not disclose your age. You may enter 01/01/1920 if you do not wish to share your date of birth.
