Creative Writing Workshop
Express Your Migraine Experience in Words
Have you wanted to describe what your migraine attacks feel like, or how living with migraine disease on a day-to-day basis affect you, but haven’t quite found the words?
Join Lisa, a long time writer for migraine.com, in a writing workshop to help you find the words.
Following inspiration and a few writing prompts, you will have time to pen some words about your experience with migraine and share it with others in break-out-groups.
This event is open to teens and up, people with migraine and caregivers, and you need not have any writing experience to join.
THIS WILL BE AN INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL EVENT TO BE HELD ON
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH FROM 7:00PM - 8:30PM EST
MEET YOUR HOST:
LISA BENSON
Lisa writes to raise awareness about migraine. She cares about awareness since she was undiagnosed for over twenty years, which allowed her migraines to worsen over time. Finally diagnosed in 2011 and living with chronic migraine, she worked hard to educate herself and navigate the medical world to find effective treatment for her condition, though this is ever changing. She has written over 100 articles on migraine.com, presented at Retreat Migraine 2020, and volunteers for Headache on the Hill and Miles for Migraine.
