This inaugural event will be a 5k run/walk that takes places on the runway at the Port of South Louisiana Executive Regional Airport. It's primary mission is to raise money for Pilots for Patients (www.pilotsforpatients.org), a non-profit that flies patients needing medical care in highly skilled facilities all over the region at no cost.
